There are a number of ways to drape a saree in styles and concepts of a specific theme dressing. Read on to find out which style appeals the most to you.
1. Traditional Saree
The most common way of styling a saree by Indian women, it's worn with pleats and the saree extends over the left shoulder that leaves enough room for experimentation with different kinds of your favorite jewelry and nifty blouses.
2. The Half-Sari
Inspired from the south Indian style of wearing a saree, in this style the dupatta hugs your waist making your waist look more defined and slim.
Take one corner of your dupatta and tuck it in at the right side of your lehenga. Now, let the dupatta wrap your waist, make pleats and secure it with a pin on your left shoulder.
Make sure the dupatta is making a nice 'V' at back and is tightly wrapped around. This will make you look slimmer, and will hide your problem areas like the stomach and waist.
