The body of a woman found outside a house in a Nottinghamshire market town has been identified as Melanie Wilson, who was reported missing in October.
The 22-year-old had sent her father a text message telling him she loved him 20 minutes before she was last seen by her family on 19 October.
Nottinghamshire Police launched a missing persons inquiry and on Thursday the remains of a woman were discovered in Stoney Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield.
A post-mortem examination carried out on Saturday was unable to pinpoint a cause of death and further tests are being carried out.
A police spokesman said: "The circumstances are not thought to suspicious. Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the death."
